No one orders though to make them profitable. Ford is already on thinner margins with the Maverick, they would be at a loss making some small 2 door long bed that hardly anyone would buy.

I never understood the hate for the car, it was just a taller Corolla with the same drivetrain.

But why did it go down?  No increase, it should have at least stayed the same right?

I’ll be honest, I has had a poor view of Chrylser/Stellantis quality, mostly been a Honda, Toyota, BMW and Ford person through the decades.

That’s interesting, my insurance actually got cheaper on my last renewal a few days ago, and I have several motorcycles.  Though I am in San Diego, maybe not the hot bed that San Francisco is right now for claims.

BMWs DCT was pretty excellent as well, and even they went the ZF8 route.

Absolutely correct, it’s one of the biggest weaknesses of the series, but it’s also what makes it the pinnacle of motorsports and honestly the most fairest when it comes to earned performance by a team.

Too many new F1 fans that believe 2021 was somehow normal. That season is your once every decade scenario.

Blame ZF, they made a great transmission in the ZF8 that is found in mundane sedans, full size trucks with high tow ratings, and high-performance sports cars.

Great stuff, but as mentioned, range isn’t really the issue, it’s lack of a good charging network where you know you will get a reliable charge without any hassle.

If based on a “Price to interior design/quality” ratio, I would go with the Porsche 996, especially the initial years of that model when they cheaped out on the quality as well.

Not really range anxiety, but charging anxiety. No place to charge at my condo, which means expensive (charge rates) 3rd party chargers which will take at least 1 hour of my personal time.

Camaro out the door, the so-called saviors of American muscle, Dodge, switching over to EV and/or hybrid-driveline for the next gen Charger/Challenger.

Most of the Bangle designed BMWs have held up, especially the E60 & and E90 models.  Still look relatively fresh today.

The top executive cars from BMW, Mercedes and Audi have the highest deprecation of any cars, for good reason.

San Diego, CA - White Tesla Model 3 and various types of Ford F150.

Considering Honda will still be supplying Red Bull until the end of 2025, and the fact that the majority of Honda’s top engineers are now at Red Bull Powertrains, it makes me wonder how Honda will get ready for 2026?

Yup, pretty much my point there. If a enclosed well funded complex only has 1% of the vehicles as full EV and currently zero plans to add charging stations in the most EV friendly state in the Union, how is the rest fairing on this?

Sure, but there isn’t much of a request so far from the owners there.

Monaco racing is about qualifying, that’s where the excitement is because it’s a narrow track, there is no fix for that.
