These raids they’ve done in these last few weeks have already made it more likely that undocumented immigrants who need the help of the police (victims of rape and/or domestic violence, not to mention robbery,) will be more afraid to go to the police and interact with the legal system for fear they will get deported.

But I think impeachment is possible down the line if Trump pisses off Congress enough at some point (say by trying to pass extreme tarrifs that would hobble the economy. Or opposing anything Ryan wants if he thinks Ryan is seen as the man really in charge. He can’t take that.)

I can further ruin the moment by pointing out that taking into account the international box office, “Arrival” has made a lot more than “Hidden Figures”, so it really is 2016's highest-grossing Oscar nominee.
