She’s great in the part. Just get her a good script, please.

It’s never made sense why they couldn’t defeat Orchis (before Nimrod or after.) They have several reality-warpers, mutants who affect time, magnetism, weather, thoughts, plus the power of precognition, teleportation, shape-shifting, near light-speed, and a planet full of violent battle-worn mutants on Mars/Arrak lookin…
What would you want in a slide show of pictures from the Con that’s missing?
Really appreciate the framing of the story. Too many outlets would have said, “The impact of the WGA and SAG strikes will add up fast.” Your headline rightfully puts the blame on the studios’ failure to negotiate in good faith.
Network TV residuals aren’t based on ratings, but they are MUCH higher than streaming rates. So good for the writers and actors and directos of the show.
The production looks great but Chalamet seems really miscast. He’s kind of charmless in the trailer. Meanwhile, Hugh Grant’s few seconds on-screen in the trailer are super fun. Too bad he’s not starring in it.
Did you ask David S. Goyer if he still feels the same way about female protagonists as he did a few years back?
I remember when he said at a public event, “I have a theory about She-Hulk, which was created by a man, right? And at the time in particular I think 95% of comic book readers were men and certainly almost…
I think you mean...
We’re getting Lori Lemaris on the silver screen! Nerdgasm!
“And it appears that once again, bullying works.”
This confused me. Is it a sarcastic line, as the bullying from the giant, powerful, billion-dollar company didn’t work? Or were you saying the criticism by Gilroy’s colleagues was bullying and that it worked? Really hope it’s the former!
Does anyone else feel there’s colorism with the casting? It’s disappointing.
The 1999 movie “Earth” is set in that period and is really good. Not sure where to find it!
This deserves a No-Prize!
Or... he could maybe stay in the USA and use his fame to help get out the vote for Democrats so American women can one day get their rights back? Just a thought.
I think back when it debuted many of us (like me!) saw Family Guy initially as a Simpson rip-off and thought the joke telling was lazy (as the South Park guys gently teased in that Cartoon Wars episode.) So Seth getting incredibly rich off that made people mad. I didn’t get mad, as even if it wasn’t totally original,…
You might hear someone attacking a persecuted minority. What a great night out!
Since his comeback, Dave’s really embraced the idea that he speaks truth to power and therefore shouldn’t be questioned. The onsage sunglasses, cigarettes, literally dropping a mic at the end of sets, he thinks he’s the coolest cat not realizing how over the top and pretentious it can come off.
At this point Mulaney really should’ve known Dave would do that. That sucks.
Probably depends where in town you live? I see the corvette a few times a year (less so since Covid.) It always makes me smile.
Your list is definitely helpful and appreciated!
