Backed up by a Subaru. Well done.

I'm not sure that I disagree with the guy being more of a jackass for the issues caused to other travelers and the time wasted for the emergency responders that had to deal with his tantrum abandoned bags, but let's be serious for a moment.
Since I won't be in Europe anytime soon and I need something to compare that I know, how is it compared to the Dragon?
It appears that the bulk of these movies aren't considered flops because they weren't profitable. They were considered flops because they weren't very good films.
Dinan's work creating the turbocharged M6 in the 80s is one of the reasons that I learned to love cars, and I'd still take one if I given the option.
Tow? I have a better plan.
I like Warmachine/Hordes, but Privateer Press is doing well enough selling their game to afford to make it without kickstarter. I'm sorry, but kickstarter isn't for big names to crowdsource funding to make stuff they can afford to do themselves, it is about the small guy who couldn't ever fund their great idea…
Every post you make about your "crapcan" make me miss mine just a little bit more. Same flat grey primer paint and everything. One of these days I am building a death trap baja bug just so that I can have one again. I swear it!
I can't speak for any MINI other than the one I owned, and it was survivable in the snow, but the traction control meant that you couldn't go anywhere in the slick (so I turned it off) and the ABS would come on at the drop of a hat and prevent you from being able to even pretend to get stopped.
Exactly. I bought my 03 Cooper S used for $13k. Granted, I bought it from my father in law, and therefore paid about $6k less than KBB at the time before considering the $10k in aftermarket modifications he'd done to it. I loved that car, and until it got to the place where I was paying almost twice my (extremely…
The issue isn't that if it is or isn't a hot hatch. MINI isn't about straight line speed, it is about corners. It is probably fast enough for that, and hypothetically the AWD will help it get around corners faster than the FWD versions. I drove a lightly modified 03 Cooper S for a couple years, and while I am not a…
MINI continues to price themselves out of the market that they made for themselves 10 years ago. I loved my 03 Cooper S and *really* would like to get a new MINI. I like the idea of that car with AWD and more power, so I want the Paceman to be awesome, but there are a LOT of cars I could (and would) buy before one…
It is awesome... and the link is for a 2 year old forum thread... so it isn't exactly "for sale," is it?
I only say CP because if I'm in the market for a Volvo wagon with some power I'd rather spend the extra cash and get a v70 R and not worry about any conversion issues.
Jag E-Type, without a doubt. He almost bought one not long ago but he is... well... cheap and doesn't buy impractical things. I'd love to give him one, though, even if it never ran. And we know it wouldn't ever run.
I will 2nd the comment on the Baja bug. My wife had one when we got married, and even with an electrical system so bad that your headlights would turn on or off depending on how hard you hit a bump and seats that had springs that wanted to murder you, it was one of the funnest cars I ever drove. And I say that after…
I say CP for one reason, and one reason only. It isn't because I don't like it. In fact, I like it a ton. It is awesome.
It may not be a super car, but it is one of the most perfect looking cars I have ever had the pleasure to gaze upon.
