Having had the privilege of driving an NSX, I honestly have to agree. I'm WAY to poor to have had easy access to a super car, so it can't possibly qualify.

For me, something is just wrong about this. I can be a fan of franken-car builds, but this one doesn't sit right with me. Never mind the cost to fix any BMW bits when they break, or the fact that it is only 75% done, there is a 99 E36 M3 on ebay right now that you can get for $6k buy it now. It's a salvage car, but

So there are 350 Lambos there. How many fires does that work out to be?

That there is no glue strong enough to keep it attached to something so awesome?

I went with NP because its mechanically stock, and looks like not a bad place to start for a track car... once you find some doors.

Not only is that CP, but the person who created that abomination should be put on trial in The Hague for Crimes Against Humanity.

Wow. Just wow.

The joke may or may not have been warranted or funny, but it WAS water and the guy WAS parked in a handicapped spot. He also preceded to commit assault on camera. Have him arrested and sue the shit out of him.

I'm exactly the opposite, mostly because of exactly the same reasons. The wealth owners of corporations are internationally invested in 1000 different things, and I don't care if I put money into the pocket of Ford Motor Company as a whole or not. My preference is to put money into the pocket of American workers,

Other then a burning love for a Dinan Turbo M6 from the mid 80s, I have little to no knowledge of BMWs from that time period. If the story were true, which seems to be in question, I'd say NP as sort of a guess as it has a cool story and sounds pretty bad ass. But with the story being questions by a forum, and

I think that the real issue is the cost difference in the gas and the hybrid versions. Lots of people buy hybrids because they burn less gas, and that means they spend less money on gas.

Insane crack price on a great car. It is awesome that it appears to be stock and in great shape, but that price is just nuts.

Exactly. It is an awesome car at a super crack-a-licious price.

Shopped. Light sources on both the right and left side, cars only have shadows on one side.

There isn't a doubt on which one based on one thing: What it costs when it breaks. The Porche costs an arm and a leg and the Honda... oh... it is a Honda. It probably won't break.

I know a guy who has spent 30 years restoring British sports cars, and when I told him that I really love the look of the TR7 and almost bought one years ago, his only response was "Be glad you didn't."

There is something about a MINI, as my post and the responses prove. I *loved* my car. I've never missed a car like I miss my MINI. People that drive them fall in love with them, and it is often consider it worth the cost. I would have loved to keep it, but I needed a backseat and space for 3 kids, and to decrease

Don't know the engine numbers well enough to know which model, but I'd say that you are correct. As Guy said, they have to stretch it about 4 inches to get it all to fit, but on the trucks you can't even tell.

Just giving you props for knowing what you are talking about, and bring some realism to things. +1 to you.

I sold my 03 Cooper S, with performance modifications, 3 years ago for just less then that. I could have gotten more, but I found my next car and was motivated.
