Does anyone else find it odd that the Queen of England is schlepping around stupid accessory handbags? Isn't there a person employed to fulfill the same essential functions of a handbag (i.e. hold her stuff)?

I guess you gotta go with what works, I think the big mistake is trying to get your friend (bride) to fit into a weird party box just because its her bachelorette. If you're friends, you've probably raged together at some point in time, so the trick is to just do your favorite shit (no matter the cost) and double down…
Commenting because i've spent some winters with a very similar Mustang, in NYC and the surrounding areas, which still gets lots of snow. My ex had several mustangs over the years, a regular V6 and then a GT V8 and we lived about 50 miles apart so there was a lot of driving no matter what the time of year.
Thank you for taking R2-D2 as seriously as he should be taken in regards to the entire Star Wars story thus far. He is the hero, as far as I'm concerned and I can't wait for the continuation of this legacy.
Said succinctly once...
oops did not get the memo peeing with the door open was a single person only activity. Who the hell closes the door, you're just peeing!
I heard this same shit on WNYC this morning during a piece about the Columbia rape issue - like, a man actually said on the record that "maybe women shouldn't get so drunk" and what was actually appalling was that was treated as valid fucking contribution to the conversation.
All this post reveals is evidence that there is a ridiculous lack of understanding of the actual problem regarding the image of the NYPD right now, its largely due to the reporting done on it. Have you seen the cover of the Post in the last month? Its irresponsible reporting, shouting to the blue collar, city employee…
Some of these can be combined, powerfully. I'm fairly sure I'm a bridesmaid in what will be a Formal Wedding for Everybody But The Marrieds, Who Are Drunk Partying.
Few things:
Ex boyfriend was obsessed with his car - the thing it really should have tipped me off to was that he truly cared for things and very little for people. He only had people in his life to facilitate the getting of things.
Its cool man, you keep on watching those Seinfeld reruns.
Same. I clicked forward to see how bad it was. Thats pretty gross. Honestly, I eat meat and wear leather, but at least they kill the animals. Plucking the hair from a live animal for a fucking $14.99 hat makes that hat seem even LESS necessary than it already is.
Cooking on Christmas Eve while getting progressively shitfaced is basically how I know I Am A Woman Now.
This. I managed to do this by being a bristly teenager/young adult around my extended family and so now all of those incredibly inappropriate lines of inquiry are directed at my mother, who goes "how the fuck should I know".
This was perfect.
I'm with you. I mean, I 'get' the premise, but i think its pretty stupid. Grad school for "media" is way more frivolous, and expensive, than a pretty cool idea like the laundry fashion blog. If you want to work in media, get a fucking job.
This is an interesting and totally valid point about recent mainstream movies featuring black main characters are often about those characters in some sort of 'good ol days' service position...and thats a great reason for not supporting them, fuck that shit.
However – I did have the opportunity to see 12 Years a Slave…
I don't know about the Home Ec thing, though it would be really great if it was part of curriculum, considering the state of schools getting EVERYTHING cut, I think art and music classes are more important than Home Economics or whateverthefuck you want to call it as far as enrichment goes.
The shitty truth about…
This is the story. This is pretty much every mom. Most moms I know (mostly friends parents) were not super-moms, and they were not corporate powerhouses. They just did what they had to do to support a family and raise a family. They all worked. They all had kids. They mostly showed up to stupid shit like the fall…
