@ihityouinthenose: yeah, hopefully that's it. thanks for the tips.

@ihityouinthenose: Thanks. Tried. No joy. Are you using your own domain name with your google apps account?
I wish everyone who watches Faux News or habitually votes republican would do this.
@ihityouinthenose: Weird. Were you in Firefox or Chrome at the time?
@ihityouinthenose: Lucky you. When I try to sign in to my Google Apps account it tells me bad username or password (yes my caps lock key is off.)
"Finally better" would be a better headline fit methinks. There's still no way to toggle between "Top News" and "Most Recent." (Or if there is a way it is so undiscoverable that it might as well not exist.)
@neenee: indeed! where would the iPhone be today without Android? (asks me, a proud Nexus One owner.)
I think about paying for a usenet account every few months, but I always end up deciding that it isn't worth the extra money when bittorrent seems to be suiting my needs just fine. I suppose if I had some of that mythical "expendable income" I might do it (i.e. if I were still single and childless.)
@Antennapedia: amen also don't tweet about your job or post about your job on facebook. even if you have no workmates on your FB friend list, you may have friends of workmates on your wishlist. You'd think millenials would get this more than us older folk, but they just don't yet.
You said "pot smokers." Heheh. Heheh. Heh.
@Talthybius: Now, now calm down kids. Does the wink emoticon no longer carry the same meaning it once did? No need to go calling people trolls for being silly and playful. Sheesh.
Short answer: upgrade to an Android phone. ;-)
It is very cool that HTC provides this option. Samsung on the otherhand forces a ton of eye-candy and useless crap far inferior to vanilla android and the only way to get rid of it is to root the device and install a ROM sans samsung's crapfest.
@neenee: This is a good point you're making. :-)
Wow, Microsoft bested Google at something! That sliding street map is indeed pretty amazing. I think knowing the streets well that they're showing in that vid might drive the amazingness home with a little extra punch not received by those who don't know downtown Seattle well.
At first glance I thought the photo of the pen was a dark aluminum baseball bat. And I chuckled.
@Talthybius: Wow. that got a lot of replies. I'm surprised so many people like webOS. There's no accounting for taste.
Or you could just updgrade to an Android phone. There are many, many to choose from now. :-)
I can't believe anyone still buys Palm anything with Android and iPhone out there.
Something to consider: losing interest in an article before you reach the end of it isn't solely a matter of attention span. Whether or not the article is written in an interesting or boring way is part of the equation, and whether the article is relevant to you and your life is also part of the equation.
