The tech seems cool, but the $5/mo and the lack of an Android app means I'll be waiting hoping they'll recognize Android's superior market share and that they'll reach a number of subscribers that will allow them to lower the price soon.

Some good advice there. Some excellent advice here: http://lat.ms/Zjsktt It's about concentric circles. You send the comfort in toward the sick person and those closest to them, you only dump your feelings outward, away from the sick person and those closest to them.
In what way(s) is/are Keeeb and Dragdis better or worse than Springpad? http://bit.ly/13ezKTY
Wow, I remember when Lifehacker was a GTD-centric site. This chili-bean thing a fine example of how far off topic this site has gone. (Dons flameproof suit for the inevitable flames from the fanboys who freak out when a valid criticism against LH is posted, most of whom are sock-puppet accounts created by LH…
Looking forward to interacting with these and other new web technologies via the leap motion controller which I preordered. (I'm not a shill, I'm just silly-excited about it, yet somehow also prepared for a possible letdown. :-) )
And replying to a comment from two years ago to try to get a rise out of someone is what kind of behavior exactly?
Wow. And to think all this time I've been depending on this ridiculous habit of checking to make sure I have keys and a wallet with cash before I leave anywhere. I've actually be wasting an entire 1/4 of a second opening my wallet and looking into it to see if there is cash in it, when I could've spent time rigging…
VOTE: Nexus 7
Ooo, nice Nav trick. Hadn't thought of that one. Adding it now. :-)
I tried the hair catcher over the drain recently. The holes in it were so small that the tub filled with water during a shower as quickly as if the drain were clogged. The solution was almost as bad as the problem. :-(
Funny, first time I played Tetris it reminded me of how theaters store furniture in scene shop storage areas.
some text.
Missing: If you've got a programmable thermostat, use it. Dial down the heat while you sleep, and during the day hours when you're away from home. Huge savings on gas or electricity over just leaving it set for the same temp 24/7.
Both kinds of IUDs work as contraceptives.
Great prices, but nothing about ordering prescription lenses on the w00t site. Which is just as well, because ordering prescription lenses online is a prescription for eyestrain. Someone needs to measure the distance between your pupils for prescription lenses to get them right. (The gunnar optiks site has a lookup…
Caution: not recommended for people with children, a drinking problem or others prone to spilling things. But very cool.
Shorter version: Don't feed the trolls.
OMFG. The fan's manual, the website of your electric company, and your GRANDMOTHER will tell you this same thing. This is not a new idea or a "hack" in any way, shape or form. Lifehacker's switch to quantity of posts over quality of posts has become laughable.
$10 for draining widgets which duplicate existing functionality from free apps/widgets? I'm thinking Teknision didn't bother learning much about the Android ecosystem before choosing that price point. Apps priced that high are really hard to sell.
Dontcha think this post deserves and update with a #correction ? Part of 'everything you need to know' about this app is that it sucks, dontcha think? See http://lifehacker.com/5945106/remains-of-the-day-ios-6-maps-leave-a-lot-to-be-desired
