I think they also think you want really good gameplay, fun parkour mixed with great guns held together by programming that keeps the game running smoothly even when it gets about as chaotic as a third-person shooter has ever been. So when it comes to story, maybe they don’t respect you? But when it comes to gameplay,…
Yeah, it is a helpful suggestion. Start ripping down the anonymity the internet is based around and make people use a unique personal ID like with their license plate. That way when people are shitheads you can connect it up easily with a real life person. Would eliminate 85% of this overnight.
Make those responsible take responsibility and not blame it on 'culture' maybe?
I propose two alternate modes: Zombie and Matt Damon. In both, you click on the toxic player's name and select one of these options. Forever more, their chat just comes out as either "Braaains!" or the like, or "Matt Damon!" (from Team America). So you know that they're saying stuff, but it all comes out as amusing…
Civilization V: "Discoverer: Playing as Italy in Scramble for Africa, earn the VP for finding two Natural Wonders." Percentage of players who own it: 0.2%. Funnily enough, Civ v has a TON of rare achievements, because most people never play scenarios.
Yeesh, did you play Inferno on the original release? If you didn't get lucky with the right items while leveling you would get stuck a few acts in for MONTHS.
$50~, guaranteed rare. Yep. Devs have shit the bed. Fuck these games and everything they stand for.
i just want my custom emblem back. Some server issue messed up a lot of people's emblems and now they're gone. I had actually made something that wasn't a swastika, or a dick, or a swastika made of dicks.

To be honest, I don't really understand how this controller is any stupider than a lot of the stuff Kotaku features for purchase. You guys publish a lot of articles featuring X item's limited edition that's exactly like the not limited edition, but w/ some game's icon stamped on it or has a different colored case and…
Destiny players sure love the Gjallarhorn—and it's created a hilarious culture around the weapon.
to be fair, australian consumer laws would also have outlawed the cryptarch's bullshit
If the game didn't have Skill-Based Matchmaking in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem. The PC community is dying thanks to this idiotic system.
I wish Destiny had a pre-order bonus that included a story....
Pre-ordering video games is, in general, a Very Bad Idea, as we've learned from the likes of SimCity, Battlefield 4, …
its not blind fanboyism, its just that no one cares. people who create stuff get a slice of the pie. and valve provides excellent service for their steam platform, and they are pretty much the only company to really get free to play gaming done properly.
Good news: Dragon Age: Inquisition is pretty great. Less-good news: Being a story-heavy role-playing game, it…
Is it that time of year already? Of course it is, I've already had three limited-time only McRib sandwiches since…
I had to read a book called, "Learning to Bow" in a global societies class. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a learning a bit about Japanese culture. It's written by a guy who has taught English to students in Japan for quite some time.
