I think it's time to stop referring to Zynga as "the Farmville people." Relatively sure the vast majority of Kotaku readers know, or should know, the name by now.

That makes more sense to me. The private servers issue I believe is related to piracy issues, although I'm not sure how effective it is in preventing piracy (if it's not, then I guess people can always just modify the game to be able to play on private servers). I don't see much of a reason for EA not to simply…
So your point is that EA should just introduce support for private servers? And how exactly would that work for a Playstation 3 or XBox360 game?
What? Capcom disappointed its fans?! Shock and awe, friends. Shock and awe.
That's interesting - are people who bought Star Wars Galaxies entitled to continue playing it? What about people who bought Wasteland in 1988? Perhaps EA should be required to port it to a modern console of their choice?
The best word for online play between more than one person is obviously "cussing tweens"
Well I'm glad you're on board, I'm thinking the other folks who replied here will be starting an "Occupy E3" movement.
Haha, I get that. I guess I'm just confused about the nature of this ending. At first it struck me as one of those "You fought against an empire only for another to rise" kind of endings, but now I'm thinking the whole point of the game is to expand you own corporate empire.
I don't know the game, so I could be wrong, but it seems like one of those ironic endings designed to put a bad taste in your mouth anyways?
Aaaaaaw young love
It's definitely not a good thing that all this talk of ME3's ending makes me want to see just how bad it is by playing through ME2 and ME3.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force...
Eyeballs are so analog. All the good game companies are piping images directly into my brain
It's fun to watch someone who clearly has no idea how to conduct an objective argument rapidly devolve into flames and posturing. You actually made the transition from trying (emphasis on trying) to make an argument to YOU'RE A JOKE I ONLY SPEAK IN FACTS within a single post, which I'm not sure I've ever seen before.…
It's actually less awkward if you're jerking off
I've been enjoying the free-to-play weekend of SWTOR - you don't see it as long-term successful?
Exactly, and moreover it's just a ballpark measure - 90-100 is a must play, 70-90 is probably worth playing, 50-70 is usually flawed but very enjoyable for a specific segment, below 30-50 you'd better love the series/genre, etc and below 30 just fucking forget it.
I think this criticism is completely missing the point of Metacritic
The people on American Idol right now (not my fault - my wife watches it in our small unit) were born in the mid-1990's. When I hear that I still think "infant"
Oh man, I didn't even notice that.
