If this is true, the Playstation 4 will probably go the way of Dreamcast. Microsoft and Sony have an opportunity coming into this E3 given the consumer community's disappointment with the unfocused and uninspired WiiU (the console of 800 controllers). Microsoft, I am almost certain, will be announcing a new console

It's late and I'm rambling - my main point is that, as far as marketing to developers is concerned, the Playstation 2's audience could be extraordinarily large, but Sony seems to want to get it out of the developed world ASAP.

This is where Sony's mismanagement is so baffling - it has the opportunity to market the Playstation 2 as the platform that everyone in the world has easy access to - but has removed PS3 backward compatibility, has been slow at digitizing the Playstation 2 library, has not leveraged the Playstation 2 in the portable

I did, my only regret was that it didn't last nearly long enough.

I was mostly commenting on what I saw in other comments. I'm not really a fan or hater of any portable console.

I've been wondering what the sound of no one caring is, and here I just had to listen in on an article about a 3DS game.

Then I suppose it's incumbent upon you to help find a new paradigm of gaming that will put us all in awe of the union of technology and art

I played this game back when it looked like shit.

Haha, thanks for taking my post with a sense of humor. Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but hopefully we get something colorful and exciting in a DLC pack a la Shivering Isles.

I remember being very impressed with the dragon model in Skyrim when I first saw it, but otherwise, while the art direction and graphic design were spectacular, the world lacked the variety and color necessary to really impress me.

I enjoyed Skyrim as well, but it didn't have the same impact on me as my first playthrough of Oblivion. I hadn't played an Elder Scrolls game prior to that, so stepping out of the sewer and seeing the open world art design was probably as awesome as having your first child or other pivotal life moments.

Tablet hardware is evolving at a much faster rate than PC hardware. Much to hardcore PCists' chagrin, the former will probably be the limiting factor in game design within a few years, not unlike how consoles have stymied progress in PC graphics over the past several years.

I'm struggling to understand why this is a standalone concept and not just a peripheral for a tablet. I think we have enough form factors out there we don't need to add the bastard child of a laptop, tablet, and console threesome that doesn't know which one its real daddy is.

@cowmilk9 @superapplekid You guys want to start a support group?

Hi Sloopydrew.

Well for Squenix's sake this building better be pretty fucking inspirational

I'm also hoping to see an expansion for Skyrim on the level of Shivering Isles. More Daedric realms? I'm in.

$10,000??? Good thing I don't have 8 friends
