Beautiful.
God damnit. 2009 really is almost 10 years ago isn’t it? Shit...
Agreed. Also, if you look closely, it doesn’t even use the TT headlights. They’re just shaped similarly, but seem to just be a tinted cover over the stock Beetle lights.
Really? Never a case of aftermarket wheels improving a cars appearance? What about a nice, classic set of BBS’s on a BMW, or a set of Cragar Soft 8's on a Jeep, or anything HRE has ever made?
Agreed. I didn’t even read the article before scrolling down and voting NP. I want one of these so bad!
Really? I would much rather them only have 1-2 cars to choose from, that way I can spot them easily. If they could be any random car, there would be no way to spot them!
There we go! Finally someone bringing in the Cali Burrito, a SoCal dietary staple!
To be fair on the weight, not even the most barebones, stripped out, soft top, 4-cylinder, 5-speed 1997 TJ Wrangler was under 3,000lbs (the lowest factory curb weight was 3,092lbs).
While I agree this engine is a beast, the 2004 F-250 had 570 lbs-ft of torque and 325hp as compared to the Toureg’s 553 lbs-ft and 309hp.
Woah, those are that cheap now? Damn, I might have to reconsider some investments...
Completely agreed.
Assuming that his principles were in some way against making SUVs?
Thank you!
And how well do sirens travel through multiple buildings? Even if the driver did just barely start to hear it, there was no way he would know what direction it was coming from, and especially not know if was a cop speeding through residential streets, about to run a red light.
How are you supposed to do that when the officer is speeding from behind buildings? I counted less than two seconds between then the car first had line of sight on the officer and impact. That’s not much time to react.
I counted less than two seconds from when the car first had line of sight on the cop car and the collision. Before that there were buildings in the way of the siren, and the officer was fast approaching, so I really doubt the driver had any time to react at all.
As another pointed out, I think it may be a Pontiac G6. Either way the offense is quite egregious.
Yes! Came here for this!
It’s the same here in the states, this guy just ignored that. Most officers, ambulances, and fire trucks are pretty good about it, from what I’ve seen.
