Exactly. And wouldn’t you know it, most celebrities who get “cancelled” don’t seem to realize said “cancellation” traces back to THEIR behaviors. The exact shittiness that causes people to turn their back on them stops them from seeing the obvious reasons why.

Yeah, his own game company and Cartoon Network cut ties with him REALLY fast, which makes me inclined to believe that this accusation is the tip of the iceberg.

The presumption is “not guilty” as far as the legal system is concerned. Employers can draw any conclusion they want.

I had honestly forgotten about the domestic abuse allegations, I thought most of his being “canceled” was on the basis of the number of inappropriate texts with an underage fan (which then prompted other similar texts and DMs to be released).

While obviously we don’t know the exact specifics of what actually happened here, it was pretty telling that everyone who knew or worked with him was immediately ready to accept it as fact because of all of their experiences dealing with him and his history of behavior everywhere he went. The rank and file developers who worked on the game don’t get profit participation. They were paid a flat rate and have already moved on to other things or were laid off.
