Meanwhile, A Wrinkle in Time went up against Black Panther...

The timing isn’t great... but I think the whole article is being misconstrued.

This is digging up old dirt, but his second paragraph complains about many things fans of the game praised and enjoyed, like the characters and the combat system. The director went to length saying XB2 was going to continue to use that same combat system and that he wanted XB2 to be like XB1 after the XBX spin-off.

How does a menu screen give you faster and current feedback to real-time actions any better than just... giving you the feedback when you trigger the action?

I still got them far faster than I could delete them. I just ended up with 100 level 6 mods even after deleting anything below, etc.

ME 2 and 3 did remedy the situation (and replaced it with planet scanning and initially multiplayer grinding, respectively), but I recall the fans complaining about the lack of inventory options... as if the inventory wasn’t nightmarish in the original. Andromeda and Inquisition took the wrong lessons from that.

It actually has some merits, though, because the pauses showcase which abilities your selected Blades have, what level they are, and whether you are successful at getting the bonus or field skill, or if you HAVEN’T and what levels you need to gain. The game needs to provide some sort of feedback to let you know what

*Inventory full. Manage inventory for 20 minutes to clear up space for new weapon mod. Play game for 10 minutes... Inventory full...*

I think it got to a point where XB2 was releasing patches to speed up the process of many things - collections, field events, merc missions - and Jason’s flippant response that “Sadly, this patch does not make the Switch game any less tedious or frustrating.”

I noticed, but how far apart are the Robins? I mean, Tim looks way older than Dick at times, and Jason was still the second Robin.

80 years after release, and I’d still say it’s in my top 5 funniest films ever made. I’m amazed at just how much I can laugh at this film with every repeat viewing.

My main issue was it felt like she was a female elf Joffrey...

... I kinda like it? Deranged, confused, goofy lunatic seems pretty applicable to the Joker, I can’t deny that.

It’s always in execution. Different for the sake of different isn’t better or worse, it’s just... different. In the animated series, BRUCE and Babs were a thing (weirdly enough...).

I was more referring to Arkham Knight, where she spends 95% of the game as Riddler’s captive with a bomb strapped to her neck. She comes back in the final 5% to help Batman out, but that’s still 95% of the experience is her literally locked in a room waiting for Batman to solve riddles so she can leave.

Barb and Tim still throws me way the hell off. I don’t know if they decided to go with Tim over Dick just to shake things up, but it struck me was odd as if Lois Lane and Aquaman were a thing and we were just meant to roll with it.

It’s a great game with too much batmobile stuff. But it’s not bad by any means, even if I disliked all the vehicle combat sections.

God bless Tim Curry.

FFXV is “finished” in the same sense my finals paper I rushed through to meet a deadline was finished. Sure, it had the minimum word-count necessary to be turned in, but it also was missing a lot of actual substance because I ran out of time, even if I still got a passing grade on it.

Kobe now has the same number of Oscars as Leonard DiCaprio...
