Some of the monsters remind me of EVOLVE as well.

... Dammit. It DOES look like a Halo game, design-wise, more so than a Mass Effect game.

It paid off in spades. Horizon is a joy on all levels - world-building, graphics, combat, music, characters, and story.

I never had a problem with FFXIV’s level until end-game. If you stick with the main story and do one or two raids every now and then you tend to be right where you need to be.

The art style is a bit more “generic anime”, yes... but Radiant Historia is still great enough that the characters could be represented by stick people and still be a great game.

It’s far, far too easy to make abhorrent abominations in the character creator than it is a decent-looking human being...

My friends knew me as the character Heiss shaped me to be. That was the life I was given that altered history. I was born as Ernst... but I’ll die as Stocke.

This game is incredible. Really is something special. I was amazed at how polished it was at launch, and seeing this kind of post-launch support is really impressive.

I literally just finished Radiant Historia for the first time yesterday. This is incredible timing.

DA:I is proof that “bigger” doesn’t mean “better”.

It’s the eyes. The eye texture is flat and overly lit. The pupils are too dilated. It’s a small detail that throws the WHOLE face of everyone off.

Dophin the Giant was the game that was going to justify the 64DD... at least in my mind at the time.

The development studio, Guerrilla Games, retains creative control over it, but they’re just about to release Horizon: Zero Dawn, which is getting universal acclaim, so I imagine they have a new franchise to develop now. I guess they can always pull a Gears 4 and…
