My new last name is way cooler than my old one, but I do regret changing it. There was no real reason to. And having to change alllll documents/accounts/etc over to the new name was a major pain in the ass, so I'd advise against it for that reason alone.

This happens to me too. I actually started crying at a Jiffy Lube because an oil change on the new car I had just bought (a used VW Jetta that I had to be talked into by my husband because I thought it was too fancy for me) cost $20 more than I was used to. They ended up giving me a discount though, haha.

This was my experience also, although we were engaged in 10 months and have been together for 3 total. Things are still going great so far!
