I find Kratos, like many others, fall under the anti-hero category of ending up unintentionally good. Through no personal goal of righting wrongs, he ends up bettering people. Such as restoring hope to human kind and removing the corrupted god's from power.

Only Overlord and Dungeon Keeper come to mind.

I'm buying this if only because you, without question, play as the bad guys.
