Dude, you do you. Support theater. I have watched Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill hundreds of times because I love it. So there.

He lost me at "persuit." Tell him I said "shut up, re-take English 101, and do not breed."
Lol. I shared this on FB and some "friend" of a "friend" hit me up with the following gem:
Ron PrattMy head is going to explode. Even if you are totally ignorant, does a potato even sound plausible? ??????? Let alone 2 weeks stuffed in the Holy of holys? I was born and raised catholic and I am sorry, the church didn't…
Yep, everything about that scooter screams "Lifestyle You Wish You Had. Other People Have Children Who Love Their Superior Wooden Toys. Who Understand What Kind Of Parent They Are. The Parent They Deserve To Be. Not Like You. You And Your Little Loser Monster Who Actually Loves Cheap Plastic Crap. No Matter How Many…
I am only here to say that I saw this headline and I KNEW IT WOULD BE YOU MARK!!!
I thought it was bad when my prof told a story about his wife who is a pharmacist and she had a girl complaining about her birth control. The problem was it wasn't staying inside her and kept falling out. It was oral birth control.
I just started screaming internally. I'm never eating potatoes for the next few weeks. Thanks Mark for making childhood fears of plants growing inside me come true. You'll receive my therapy bills shortly.
Ok well you can send me the kitchen. I am deeply enamored of toy kitchens, even though I have a house with a real kitchen that I use mostly for making coffee and taking bites directly from the block of whatever fancy cheese my husband bought last. But the toy kitchen I had as a kid? The greatest thing that has ever…
"But what do you expect with creatures who eat crayons and spend half their time trying to take their clothes off?"
Yup. Forget the adorably, fully-stocked antique kitchen I found at a thrift store. No, my kid is busy with a week-old balloon animal that basically looks like a large pink condom at this point.
I bought one of these (the bumblebee model) for my nephew when he was two. The kid fucking loved it then, loves it now and his younger bro loves it as well. His parents roll their eyes everytime my guy and I bring those boys yet another well designed, well made and super-fun European toy. But fuck it, I refuse to buy…
I believe this is real, or at least true. I used to spend so much time poring over the Hearthsong catalog, and Nova Natural, looking at wooden European toys that we couldn't afford to buy, and when we did buy them, he ignored them or chewed them.
The one thing I've learned after 4 kids is to never spend more than 20 bucks on a toy. The excitement always wears off within a month. But what do you expect with creatures who eat crayons and spend half their time trying to take their clothes off?
As a parent, I so feel their pain. Mini Pie is only 15 months and yet I can't even count the amount of times we, or friends and family, have bought her something and she's either disinterested in the present all together or she much prefers the box it came in. Kids suck.
I'm the white biological mom of a biracial daughter who was born in New Hampshire.
Agreed. There have been a lot of accusations of racism hurled at this woman. I hope this makes it clear that the fact that she's suing the sperm bank for incompetence does not mean that she does not love her daughter.
I totally agree with you, I think every kid should be exposed to as many different cultures and types of people as possible from a young age. Experience breeds tolerance. I'm just glad this woman seems to be more than happy to change her lifestyle to provide a more comfortable one for her child. As a non-white girl…
She does seem to have the daughter's wellbeing at heart. But, as ungenerous as it sounds, something sticks in my gut about the couple's willingness to bring up a white baby in a racially homogenous, intolerant area. Don't white kids need to understand diversity as well?
I commented with this on the first article, but as a biracial girl raised by a white mother, I feel for this family. It is no fun being raised by a woman you look nothing like. My mom did the best she could in our overly white town, but it sure as hell wasn't easy, and we heard some nasty words from all sorts. No…
I'm glad this post clarifies some peoples' concerns that her complaint with the sperm bank in any way indicated that she didn't love and cherish her daughter exactly how she is. I'm glad she's suing them because it's incredibly important that people be provided with accurate information when choosing a donor whose DNA…
