At face value I'd say this is a very discouraging portrait of American health. After looking at the numbers posted in this infographic I noticed some encouraging trends.

Yeah, apparently the Gibson hollow-body was the expensive one. That said, while customization devalues the guitar for resale it increases the emotional attachment 10 fold. Spending years tweaking a guitar with pickups, wiring, hardware and caps only makes it that much more irreplaceable.

This is just sickening. The added value of these pieces have nothing to do with what was taken from this man. Unfortunately I don't think anyone who does not play the guitar would understand. Not only is there the attachment to the instrument, but the time and labor that went into the customization of those guitars.

This is precisely why I deleted my Facebook and Myspace account last year. I will not allow companies to peer into what is meant to be private.

I can only imagine the cost of this marketing technique. Not only is the glass gonna be expensive as hell, but the change-parts for the bottling line will be ridiculous.

I'm an iPhone purist myself. I hate covering up the looks that made me buy the phone in the first place. That said, that's a beautiful case and I'm considering ordering it for those times when I need more juice.

Something is off about this video. Depending on where you are on the video the notes are hitting before and after he strums. There's also some strums missing when he switches to power chords.

Exactly my thoughts. I am that 30 something. The only difference is I am looking forward to the 3rd, because that franchise means so much to me that I'm hoping some miracle will occur and they'll get it right.
