I am relatively mechanicaly savy (I have a dwgree in mechanical engineering) I made a really dumb mistake doing plugs on my 07 Solstice GXP it was late and I was a few too many beers in, misread a torque spec in ft lbs that was really in lbs and snapped a pluv off going in.......

I recently started doing this however I put the dead candles in the freezer for a few hours and the wax contracts away from the glass and pops out rather easily, from there you have nice think glass jars to reuse and the spent wax is more manageable
