I also thought the outline was of the Early Bronco but after closer inspection, the back doesn’t quite match. The top rear is rounded down where as on the O.G. Broncos they have a drip rail that runs all the way around that collects water and loves to rust.

My car seems to be the exception, they are much more expensive over there, even before the conversion rate. For example the closest car they have to my ‘12 V8 Challenger is a 2013 V6 Challenger for UK$21,750. Comparable car here is about US$18,000.

Have you thought about insuring your Yugo through Hagerty or one of the other collector insurance companies? They are generally much cheaper than the mass market companies. I insure 4 cars through hagerty for about $500 a year total.

I had a 1985 Peugeot around 1998 and the low gas light wasn’t always working, because French car. One time in New Jersey it ran out of gas as I was driving down the hill in our town, luckily there was a gas station at the bottom of the hill, so I just popped it in Neutral and was able to coast downhill and right into

I drive a RHD car in the states often and it’s not that bad. Just carry a stick to punch numbers on keypads and and one of those old people reaching sticks for drive throughs.

Why not a Wrangler? Stick shift and 4wD.

Picture somewhat related, I once spotted a Ferrari 458 with a trailer hitch here in Miami. Your setup seems a lot safer, not sure why everyone is complaining about how dangerous it is.

Could we see the 10 least expensive cars sold? One of those could be in the realm of possible ownership for a lowly jalop...

The only thing I miss about living somewhere that has winter is owning a winter beater. But that does open up a slot for the 2nd project car, so ups and downs.

Probably not New York traffic, the visible cars have no front license plates. Could be Florida or one of the other no front plate states. Based on the girl in the Honda and her seat cover, my guess is Florida.

You can’t sleep on planes because you have not discovered the wonder of a lunestra and double whiskey. As a fellow six foot three’er I need all the help I can get to sleep on a plane. Employ this tried and true method and you awake at your destination feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the world. Or you may be

Most pressing repair that I am putting off right now is the head gasket in my FJ40. Soon though...

Nonfunctional hood air intakes

You forgot to mention how it goes through tires almost as fast as fuel. Just got my first set replaced, they lasted 18,000 miles...

You get 25mpg in your RT!? That is pretty good, I average 17 in mine, best I ever got was 21.3 and that was highway the entire time.

Thanks RoverMan. I think that yellow is from the stage 1 Defenders and a PO painted it to make it look more modern. The original color was Marine Blue, which it will be turned back to one day.

I never thought about adding a Samurai because the 2nd generation ones always come to mind. But, I just looked up some 1st gens (LJ10, LJ20, SJ10) and they are cool little trucks. I wouldn't mind cruising around in one of those. Wonder if they ever sold in the US, can honestly say I've never seen one around or for

Nice! My buddy has a Frontier, great trucks. Where do you guys do your off-roading/camping?

Thank you (I think) haha.

Airstream is my old man's actually, but thank you. They park it here when they are in town. And yeah that is A/C up top, a little something to make them more comfortable in the hot south.
