20 m/s seems really really slow.

Stop. Read the definition of climate. Read the definition of weather. Then go get a STEM degree.

is an oxygen rich atmosphere one of the main reasons these guys evolved so large?

You hire an iO9 writer to do the scriptwork.

Also take into account that Antarctica wasn't always centered on the south pole. 65 MYA it was a bit off center:

except of course, with thermodynamics, GR, E&M, and QM in their respective domains.

great.. I'm an ant. :p

QM vs GR of course

Amen

well.. not effective so much as weird things happen. the link i used to get ideas for the project died long ago so I sorta made it up myself. Best way to do it though is to get 1. microwave, 2. satellite dish 3. a big computer fan 4. random things to attach stuff. 5. and some sheet metal. You get the magnetron from

it is from a movie, but I actually experimented with this before. Basically what you do is get the microwave to induce small voltages in the delicate microchip circuits.. and it fries them. ~80m range, but you need an outlet. Also have some ideas on making it a bit more powerful and portable, but they're just ideas.

you know.. with just a microwave and a mixing bowl you could create an EMP to disable those drones.

i think it really depends on how the missiles are designed. If seawater comes into direct contact with solid U or Pu, it'll probably just warm it up with its moderation of neutrons. If its a U or Pu oxide powder, you could probably get some area contamination. But because of the slowness of ocean currents I doubt

"...you can synthesize gasoline out of guacamole.." You just made my day.

thats so true that it hurts >.<

I hear the satire and see & agree where you're going with it, but I gotta say; paintballing/nerf-gunning is pretty fun.

uh, lava flows rarely deposit minerals or gems; the exceptions to this rule are found only before ~60 MYA.

that assumes FTL in a local sense. If you try the alcubierre-drive approach to FTL (which has many problems of its own of course), I'm not quite sure if the violation of causality applies exactly.

also.. For those of us that don't know how to pronounce characters other than the basic alphabet and accents, some speech guide would be helpful.
