kettleman city is a saad saad place to live in CA. Affordable? sure. Don’t go there.
That makes sense actually. I would add though that there is nothing that guarantees you’ll find someone with the right appetite. This is not supposed to dampen your spritits, but a good reality check so you don’t feel bitter and angry towards existence.
Currently struggling with the list of perk ones, as I’ve never had a relationship where there were obvious sacrifices.
That literally is a pancake. holy moley
Java was also my first language. I learned it in the process of developing a minecraft plugin! :D
I was recently in a big rut (in some ways I still am), and in part it was because of my philosophy training, deep scientific nature, and training in rhetoric; Whenever I'd get help from people, they would try and provide me with quotes, point to religion, or tell me what I was feeling was unwarranted or wrong. After…
Welp, considering I'm not likely to get some/see some any time soon, might as well pay for it and eat reasonably while I'm at it.
this is more of a "why Nasa is interested in trying to see if space can be warped for propulsion" rather than a " How NASA may build a Alc. drive." How implies that the physics is worked out, and the only problem left is in the engineering. We have no idea how to generate a region of negative mass energy density..…
True, Recent developments in Supercapacitors have yielded some amazing Power densities.. but what is more important for long term operation is Energy density. Power density is the amount of energy per unit time you can get from a given mass, but energy density is the amount of energy actually contained within that…
yep! that and oh.. wait.. a fusion reactor will probably never be built this century small enough to fit on anything.. batteries will never have power densities high enough for a suit, and you sure as hell can't make arc jets with enough power in the atmosphere based purely on electricity. No 'we've done things…
wow.. You just opened up a huuge can of worms. Now I feel like I'm gonna be single forever :S.
cant tell you much, but I've talked with several Geo professors who report that carbonados are more likely a result from pegmatites forming in the deep mantle rather than asteroid impacts.
Its important to note that not all americans are like this, and even within america there is a strong cultural divide. I'm a west coaster and have never shot a gun. Most of this 'gun totin americans' stuff probably refers more to midwesterners/hillbillies. If anything its quite interesting how diverse cultural views…
Writing about future technology is markedly different than being intimately connected with the concepts behind projected future tech. So in that sense, I believe that SciFi writers are not inherently more appraised about the future of technology than the common layperson. That being said, some SciFi writers have…
it can be summed up as simply as this: All hallowed are the Ori.
Where can i get this software!?? :D
I work in Yosemite National Park, and you see this everyday almost around 3-4 pm.
Will Curiosity, besides trying to figure out the whole life on mars thing, also be on the lookout/have the capability of identifying possible metal deposits which may be of use when humans start building structures on Mars?
