Sweet.

Pop sold his ‘67 Vette 327 in the early ‘70s to pay for law school, and to be able to afford another rugrat (me).

Natural, inevitable pivot from print to online/TV notwithstanding, this hurts, and will hurt our industry.

Been a Soundgarden fan since high school. 10 years later, we magazine editors were lucky enough to be invited to the PlayStation Gran Turismo Awards at SEMA. Held at Tryst in the Wynn, the event, venue, and unbelievably hot servers were simply off the hook.

How is it that these stunt guys’ necks don’t look like Mini Me’s deformed johnson after a couple jumps? Even with protective gear that’s a hard hit.

Done.

The pillars cracked even on hardtop TRs because the factory left around half of the body bushings out, supposedly for cost savings. Love my 10-second TR but hate its weak-ass frame!

Ever since testing that LS6, I've wanted a C5 Z06. That truly was a race engine for the street, 385-405 N/A horses from 346 cubes was astounding for an early Aughts GM. They do carry the flag well compared to today's vettes-being only 3,000 lbs sure helps ;)

We tested that 04 Z06 at Englishtown on a cool, 50-degree March day. Because E-town is at sea level, the density altitude was a couple thousand feet below sea level. Which means it was great weather for max power that day.

The linked article from your link was my story. My old mag GMHTP (hence my username) did that test in late March 2004 with a dead-stock 04 Z06. Our test driver, six-speed wizard Steve Baur, powershifted the snot outta that car at Englishtown for the 11.9 ET. That thing is a rocket!

Quite the cheap shot at the end. Regardless of his douchebaggery, Pelini ran a clean program, one of the cleanest. Considering the horrible news out of other schools/programs that's nothing to sneeze at.

Level 10 is referring to Pat Barrett's shop in north jersey. If so, that thing'll rip your fillings out on every shift.

I recently moved from NYC back to my Nebraska hometown. It's hard to put into words just how ridiculously cheap it is...unlike NYC, where everyone from the IRS on down shakes you down for every spare penny.

Consider yourself lucky: when my GM press cars' (plural) IRS/clutch failed, I got thrown in Press Car Jail for years. Good times.

With the average Tampa IQ somewhere in the Looney Tunes-Stewie range, this is just smart marketing.

The guys over at Lincoln vs Cadillac have discussed this/done it. Not an easy car to throw an LS engine into...should be easy with matching names right?

11.2 street tire time, 10.8 on drag radials.

Hey I have family in Pueblo! Wait...FFFUUUUU

Anyone else's near-40-year-old necks quiver in horror at that last hit?
Maybe it's the street rear endings/racing hits/go kart T-bones mines taken, but pretty sure these dudes will need lots of chiro...
