I don’t know who this character is, but now I want to know.

but let’s be real, they were almost certain to lose from the moment Leonard went down

He needs to get used to this feeling.

Canadians: “What’s an Anaheim?”

I guess the cover of Newsweek. Except that woman, can I say her name?

I would totally watch Naomi Watts in an episode of the Red Shoe Diaries. I hope Laura Harring guest stars and we have a Mulholland Drive reunion of the bestest kind.

My half-assed theory:

I think he wore down. He suffered a wrist injury in late March and wasn’t the same guy who set the league on fire the first two months of the season. He then rolled his ankle in Game Three of the OKC series and may have gotten concussed in Game Five of the Spurs series. The dude didn’t take any

Damn, TOLD.

Jesus Christ, you finally write about the Ducks and half of it is still about the goddamned Oilers. I’m glad to see the team with four #1 picks and eight straight top ten picks is finally becoming a real hockey team. Really too bad they couldn’t have faced Pittsburgh in an all-”tank until you make it” finals. I hope

I like Win Shares, but it isn’t the be-all end-all of player evaluation. Watching Draymond on a night-to-night basis, he’s indispensable to that team. I would let Klay walk before I let Draymond walk. Hell, I would let KD walk before letting Draymond go. When your four/small-ball five is handling the ball, it fucks

Every time a young sports figure does something stupid, I try to remember myself at 21 or 22, what I would be like if I had millions of dollars and everyone around me was telling me how awesome I was, and then I understand.

I root for the Ducks, but one of my co-workers roots for the Caps, and overall I felt bummed last night for him more than I was happy my team moved on. Regardless of what happens, at least the Ducks have a Cup that I can look back on. Seven series that they’ve lost in 7 games. That just fucking sucks.

Curry was not himself since he slipped on the floor in Round One, and Cleveland still barely won. Still, if anything, LeBron is playing even better right now. We are in an era of ridiculousness.

Eesh, I don’t know. I’m a Golden State stan, but the way LeBron is playing right now scares the hell out of me. I was also mildly worried about Houston (less so about Santone, for whatever reason) bur I don’t think Harden is 100%.

You bastard.

Lowry would make an excellent Spur for a few years, if he’s willing to take the pay cut. Covers a glaring deficiency on the team.

So what is a good book to read on the Black Sox scandal?

They should be frustrated that they got outshot 64-38. The Ducks were better that game and they deserved to win.

Diaphaneity. Jesus Christ, Barry.

Shit.
