I’m really hoping we get a console edition in the U.S. I’ve been holding off on a PS4 for this reason. Do you have any more info on this one? Is it a regular version?

Not very surprising. DeNa always plays things close to the chest. Them sharing information about their operations is akin to them going to the dentist for an extraction.

I think it's safe to say that all those shovelware developers on the Wii have found a new home in mobile platforms. The only surprising part is serious developers just now realizing this several years later. They are like cockroaches, always looking for the next nest within which to breed.

I played some of it and really liked it. I got to where the video ended and wound up with the boots, glove, bombs, shovel and mushroom. Pretty cool!

The program can generate an item log for if you really get stuck. Check it.

Hopefully, their next console will have its own identity. The name Wii U pretty much screams "knock off". Which is too bad, because I really did enjoy using the gamepad without the TV.

Dear god, the drought of games... After being spoiled by the SNES, there were months and months where nothing worthwhile came out. I sold mine in 1999, having long been converted to the Playstation brand.

Well at least what he did was a lot more consumer friendly than what Square Enix did with the Kingdom Hearts games. Eleven years and still no proper sequel. Just a WHOLE bunch of side games.
