Greenwald’s coverage of everything Russia-related is so hilariously compromised. I don’t get the continued fanboyism.

Until the “good” Alabamans are willing to get seriously vocal at their churches and, i don’t know, Elks club events, with their intolerant ass neighbors, scorn is deserved. I don’t live there, but those in my family who do will say “it’s easier to go along/get along” and “some of these people will just never get it.”

Come on Rams...

Compelling. A film review by dorks who never saw the movie.

same. wife and i are both from very rural, very homogenous areas. being in a very diverse neighborhood with insane food diversity, easy public xport, nearby beach(!), good parks, not to mention professional baseball team(s!) to watch—the idea of suburbs seems awful. but, with a young kid, the school thing will

this idea is brilliant, too bad i never set foot in those houses any more.

everything about your comment makes me dislike you

If he stated that as his reason for refusing the “honor” it would be one thing. He didn’t. He clearly stated his rationale, and it’s a bullshit one.

The ball is 10 feet behind him by the time he gets hit.

Counterpoint, I guess?: If they get that call “right,” they screw the Cubs (the ball was, very obviously, well past the catcher before contact is made). So, in a way, this ump did what should have been done in Calvin Johnson/Dez Bryant terms. Better for the game, annoying for pedants.

I love how bad, uninformed opinions always require built-in self-defense clauses like “I know this isn’t PC” or “I know this won’t be popular.”

You know what isn’t popular? fucking ignorance.

we’re not talking hot water heater, here.

Interesting that you’d make this comment under an article that seems to pull the rug out from under the perceived competence of your beloved university.

Though fictitious, i always enjoyed Harry Handerson

Pin and Tell’her is more my style

oof. this shit is getting hyper-local

Dogs: Not really meant to live indoors

Just had a meeting at one of those places. I am now convinced that no one in that generation is actually doing any work whatsoever.

You appear to have a grievance you are trying to get across.
