This is why people think torque is so important. It's unbelievable. First off, the torque to the wheels is the only "important" thing, and this comes through gearing.

One of the guys in our SCCA region had one that he autocrossed at many of our events. He sold it last year though. I miss that car! Hopefully it's still being driven hard!
