Except when you're getting airborne in, or completely tossed out of your rack, that's never fun. But maybe that's a >150ft vessel thing...

Forest Green, thanks!

And no, I don't know why this woman in the photo Volvo supplied is behind the wheel of a Fiat.

Also, I want to build an SX/4 rallycross car so bad it hurts.

My first car! And I still have it.

Or something.

FYI, no way that's an SCCA sanctioned or based event. They mandate much more runoff room from the course to any obstacles (ie those jersey barriers)

So much of this aero looks like it's for show, it may have real R&D behind it, but none of it is physically large enough to do anything. Look at the splitters, canards, flares, diffusers, and wings that even non pro drivers end up with on their TT cars, let alone real pro level stuff. The aero is twice the size....

Got some pretty gnarly front camber already. Looks like at least -2. Me likey.

Wonder if I'll be able to tow my Mustang with one of these.

I disagree, they're pretty much styling cues, look at the aero used on NASA TT cars or any of the wheel to wheel racing series corvettes participate in and you'll see that the aero is much more dramatic. It's not just because it works better... It's because aero needs to be fairly rediculous looking to actually WORK

I can't seem to figure how to PM on this but... Is that a Hornet I spy in your avatar? Here's mine:

You just described the feeling I couldn't pinpoint. Retro made the mustang, as well as the other 2, different from 90% of the other cars you could choose. Not that a mustang is that special in and of itself, they make zillions of them, but if was "different". It's not just that I like the retro, I own a '14 GT track

Wow kinja. You amaze me with your suck.

It is tough, if you're focused on keeping the 27" overall diameter from OE. Most ditch that in favor of the shorter tire. But again I am talking about the many that use these cars for Motorsport, where you aren't worried about speedo accuracy.

Most of the serious "Motorsport" mustangs I've seen don't run the 27" overall diameter as is OEM. That opens up your options. I know for my autocross season next year I'll be running a square 18x10 setup on 285/35 RS3's. Probably throwing some 285/35-19 RE-11's on my factory 19"s
