True enough but most of the reviews I read were specifically negative about customer service. The product may be good but if and when it breaks down you really need a company to stand behind the product. I got the sense from several of the reviews that the company is non-responsive for the most part.

I did read the reviews after seeing this article. Mostly it sounds like very bad customer service. Only after they get bad reviews do they even return phone calls. Based on what I read I would pass on this one.

Speaking from Copenhagen, arguably the most advanced city in the world when it comes to bike infrastructure and city planning, where over 50% of the population commute daily (year round) by bicycle, mopeds/scooters under 50cc have always been limited to bike paths. There are tons of them, always have been. It works

I hope electric bikes get at least another $500 less expensive. $750 or less with decent range.

Well, not to be that guy, but do you hate the bikes or the buttplugs who drive them stupidly?

it would be cool if you could put several 11.4v LiPOs in it and get that sucker to pull wheelies and hit 50mph

I think the 20 mph limit allows them to not have to have certain Federal mandated safety features and are generally treated as non-motor vehicles.

No, I'm not okay with sharing the bike lane with these. If the motor is not the human body, they should not be in the bike lane.

Yeah at $1,299.00 it's still about $799.00 too much.

anyone read any of the reviews on this bike though? Yikes. The bad comments range in dissapointment and the positive comments look fake. electric bikes are massive in nyc, esp with delivery people. but the whole "not a vehicle" thing makes the drivers very unsafe. as a cyclist, i hate them. they move faster than bikes, but no one obeys the traffic laws, so i'm constantly avoiding them coming down the wrong way on a street, or zipping on or off

20mph is a pretty common cruising speed for road bicycles on flat terrain. I can average about 16 on a mountain bike with slicks on flat pavement.

It really depends on how much you like to read. And I don't mean just read, but reeeeeeead. As in: hours upon hours. If you pick up a book, only to put down for basic needs, then a tablet should be avoided as your reading device. You'll get some eye strain after some time.

I may have to invest in a pair of those SleepPhones. The place I live in shares its kitchen wall and living room wall with the place next door. For some reason, this creates an amplifying effect and noises made next door at a certain volume are broadcast through my place. By 'noises' I mean 'when the otherwise

90? That's a long good run from such a significant woman.

I remember reading once that Salvador Dali would go to sleep holding a spoon over a plate while seated in a chair. When he would fall asleep the spoon would fall out of his hand and hit the plate, waking him up. He would then immediately write down/draw/doodle whatever he had been thinking about.
