Vlad the Impalee?
Vlad the Impalee?
There’s a reason the root has a, erhm, reputation across the rest of the gawker sites.
Uhh...I think we need to deal with deal with pollution sources before they become a problem. it would be like running a knife across your skin and only stopping once you start bleeding. No, the correct solution is to take the knife away before that happens.
Nasty? The ones I get on transatlantic flights are wrapped in plastic so I assume they are fresh. New. Or at least washed, right?
Where did you hear that? Fuckin’ hell, what’s the point of the light, then?
How so? Both are solid at high speed...only one is soft at low speed.
Right on. The early Internet wasn’t the wasteland it is now - it was a unique piece of history. Can’t rephrase you any better. It is nothing sort of atrocious that a company treats user data like this. If a decade was just overwritten at any other company, that’d be lawsuits, jail time, but not here.
Yeah, I really don’t get jalopnik’s obsession with bashing 2500RPM+ at highway speeds. I always thought that 3-4000RPM at 80ish MPH was normal.
For a long time he seemed to be generally accepted by the Jalopnik community, but in the past month we’ve all apparently collectively gotten sick of the comments...
The “special case” is solved by using the shoulder lane to pass the rolling roadblockers. In places with non-obnoxious law enforcement I have found this to be highly effective.
He’s definitely an uppity chap, looks like he offended the wrong person.
So THAT’s where the “BMW/Tesla combination” bit came from!
I would read a novel about the execution of that ad. There’s no way that the approvals, & cleanup, were anything short of a nightmare.
Oh yeah? What else do you prefer then? Black? Gray? Various shades in between?
since when are you grey on jalopnik?
I hit what must’ve been 35-40mph on a Northrock mountain bike once. Then I learned what speed wobble is, and simultaneously realized that I never checked the max speed that a Walmart bike’s bearings could sustain.
This is an important point. Nobody really likes to admit it, but the gas prices spike was more than likely a one-time deal. I’d be more concerned about rare metal shortages and battery price spikes.
Oh yes you would. The resale on a new battery pack would be at *least* in the high five figures.
Doug really did a number on their financials with his Range Rover.
Thank you! Everyone in this thread is wondering why they used something impractical and fragile like mics. Your answer is much more practical.
