She had a "feminist awakening"?
She had a "feminist awakening"?
Hmm I'm not sure if this is an issue though. The idea of respecting other religions/cultures extends to those people who actually want to participate in the customs of that culture. Presumably, the children who are being married who would use this spoon trick would not be wanting to participate.
The first one was certainly not high literature but it was smart and fun, IMO. The part of the second one that I read was just terrible.
Hmmm. I think that's a little reductive.
I have to agree with what AnotherCatLady is saying here. It's not that depressed or suicidal people just don't realize they can get help, or don't understand what suicide is and that it's permanent. Depression is a complex issue and it works in a lot of terrible ways that make it very difficult for many people to get…
I agree with this, but would you also say it's true that the stock "uptight Asian" or the "silent Asian" female character is rarely depicted as showing those familial pressures and rather shown as one-dimensional and reduced to that single characteristic, out of context?
Okay, I read like a preview of that and it seemed like entirely different writing. Was I being crazy?
This is so completely fair. As others have said, put a note in your program or post it somewhere.
I know that smokers pay more when they admit they smoke (again, being one) but so do obese people. But they're not deporting smokers or other people with self-destructive behavior. They're deporting fat people.
I think I'd be Parks and Rec. A little bit of everything: crazy sarcastic April, driven idealistic Leslie, goofy Andy, competent Donna, insecure Tom and Ron Swanson.
So, up there in the article that you clearly didn't read but decided to comment on anyway, since you clearly needed a place to put your bullshit facts as if you were a prophet of asshatery, there's a link up there that shows that the idea that "FAT PEOPLE COST THE SYSTEM SO MUCH" is bullshit. It also displays a lack…
At this point I think the election is Hillary's to lose, so I think she could probably survive having Huma on staff. However, I don't think it's a smart move, and I don't think she'll take the risk.
Ugh that's such bullshit.
Oh thanks for that! I actually looked that up, I was wondering what Rotating Orange was referring to with "certain feminists fighting in congress against what was already in place."
What are you referring to, out of curiosity?
Are you also not a baby person? Because 37 (38 at the time of the wedding) weeks pregnant, outside, in 100 degree Texas summer heat is absolutely a health issue. She knew when her due date was, yes, and so the bride knew that there was a good chance that something would happen and she wouldn't be able to make it. So…
If I were to get pregnant now or in the next several years, I would have an abortion. I would not feel guilty, persay. I would not feel guilty because I would abort as soon as I found out, which would mean before the hypothetical fetus was any more than a cluster of cells. I would know that I was doing the right thing…
It's making a rise because of the rise in gel manicures. Pure acetone is the only thing that gets the gel off, and is way cheaper than going again to the salon.
It's there I know it! If we all just think real hard...
If you like pasta (or meatballs or anything you put red sauce on) definitely make a ton and then freeze it. Since most pasta requires not much more than boiling some water, that can always be a really easy base for a main dish that you can add to.
