Actually, JK Rowlings got no money from her recent lawsuit. She was reimbursed for legal fees and donated the rest...

As many people here have tried to tell you, it's not so easy as "cover it up" because a baby is a living breathing thing with comforts and discomfort. Why should a baby who doesn't like to be covered have a blanket over their head because you don't want to turn yours?

A few things about your arguments:

US Airways has been pretty terrible to me as well.

OBVIOUSLY I NEED TO LEARN FEMINISM ALL OVER AGAIN

Weirdly, it doesn't sound like anyone on board was concerned about this young girl seeing breasts but the flight attendant.

No, I'm saying that the use of an outdated term and being shamed for breastfeeding in public are not equal and do not merit a "pot meet kettle" approach.

Yep those two things are exactly equal.

Especially when you consider that the job of a flight attendant is to minimize discomfort on flights, not create it.

Yeah, I'm basically a giant ball of anxiety and would have just done what I was told at that point but my parents would have FLIPPED.

She was like 10 or 11 though. I would have been massively uncomfortable with being moved, being involved in that awkward situation.

Okay, let's pretend that "certain modesty and discretion" is at all legitimate.

Yes, because that is the expectation. Men get to say anything they want to women, and women's only option is to be silent. Cool guy.

Super tacky! Holy shit! Also downright mean. What even would be the purpose of that?

I think in terms of bridesmaids dresses the least you can do as a bride is give the color and style you want. You know, knee-length baby blue one shoulder. Then everyone can find the material/price they want.

Oh yuck.

Except even the bartender is being paid to serve alcohol to everyone. If Anthony Weiner hired a prostitute, would she be morally obligated to not have sex with him because she knew he was married?

I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt to women in this situation IRL, because sure, if he's just some rando you might not know he has a wife and kid, and those were his obligations.

Here's the thing though: abortion has already been decided, but it wasn't enough. Even if we can stop fighting over whether or not women have a right to an abortion, there's still more to do on that front. And I think the GOP knows this, and I think part of why they're fighting so hard to move back 50 years is that if

A) your ring sounds lovely and unique and B) ew ew ew that your coworkers are that rude.
