The pilots of three of my most-loved shoes (30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Rec) were all dreadful. Some of my faves even had terrible first seasons.

Yeah, I agree. I know it's part of the rap game but I think Kanye goes wayyyy beyond what is "the rap game" and into delusion.
He's the world's biggest egomaniac but yeah, he's incredibly, amazingly talented.
I "just don't like" lots of things. Everyone does. Fortunately for society, most of us have evolved our political opinions beyond what we "just don't like" with the ability to think critically.
Maybe, but a patient's comfort level also matters. It's not wrong to be more comfortable with a woman OBGYN. If you're not comfortable with a doctor, you might not tell him all of your symptoms or be entirely forthcoming about your activities. A doctor you're comfortable with will inherently be better than one you're…
Oh for sure I will be there early!! I intend to be first in line.
And how was the OP's comment helpful? If you believe that this one thread on this one message board is derailing and dominating the conversation, I don't know what to tell you.
And I am truly sorry for the loss of your sister. I didn't mean to imply that you, personally were trivializing me, personally. I meant that to say to a survivor of assault that they are "lucky" is trivializing in general.
Like I said, she's entitled to act however she wants on the court. Obviously she's an incredible athlete. You can dislike someone's personality off the field and still respect them as an athlete.
She says she has multiple personas. I don't know. She kind of came off like an overgrown, moody child.
And if you've been sexually assaulted as I have, you might understand why telling me I'm lucky is offensive and trivializing. It's not the sad olympics - you can be horrified by both things.
I completely agree. I cannot believe that no one has mentioned this before.
Oh no, I didn't mean she's entitled in the sense of her accomplishments. She's gotten them by working hard (although interestingly, in the article, it's quite evident how much she loathes training. I mean she really whines about it, like a kid who doesn't want to go to practice).
Maybe, but that doesn't make it a less horrifying thing to say.
Serena comments in the article that her friends have been telling her she's spoiled. She does come off seeming like she believes things should be handed to her. You can become entitled it's quite easy really.
If she knew he was married, it says something about her character.
Here's the thing though, that would actually make this true:
Seriously? Like, okay, when it comes time for the Olympics maybe, but right now?
Yeah, I don't think victim-blaming is decent.... she pretty much showed herself to not be decent at all.
My God that was upsetting.
