It’s the knee socks. So many knee socks.

I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you. No one sensible could compare W&K’s half-hearted commitment to a very generic concept of “mental health” to Harry’s full throttled support of wounded warriors generally and the Invictus Games specifically.

I was responding mainly to several articles I have seen recently complaining that William and Kate take off an unprecedented amount of time and that their charities--while, yes, important (particularly the youth mental health one you mentioned--are not nearly as well-represented as Harry’s Invictus Games involvement,

OBVIOUSLY this is a clue left from the Time Travellers. Have we tried seeing if there any hidden codes? Random words with dots over them? Ha anyone checked the manuscript for invisible ink? Maybe it has the way to stop Trump! MAYBE IT LISTS HIS HORCRUXES!!!

Is this how the British get their stiff upper lips? Naked knees getting constantly bruised and scraped and cold all childhood long? And their nannies won’t let them cry?

I absolutely agree with you about their working (and it is an utter shame how Harry has to pretend to not work so as to fit in with their laziness) but they aren’t allowed to take free stuff.

I agree wholeheartedly with this comment. What is the deal with them not working? Harry is out there killing it and Will and Kate appear for like 5 minutes once a month to half-heartedly talk about kids or something.

o snap

My toddler had started saying yuck when I try to kiss him and it’s the most devastating rejection I’ve ever had.

Less waving, more actual work, absolutely.

That kid gives world class bitch face.

I cannot STAND the twee way they dress the poor lad - as much as I am sure that Kate and William are wonderful people and lovely parents, the priggish and overly aged way they dress them makes me feel like they are the sort of parents who will stretch their children’s toddler years out to their mid thirties.

I think how he is clothed is part of it. Devoid of any mascots, cartoon characters, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it trends (like whatever haircut might be the 2010s equivalent to a mullet or a rat-tail, for boys), and obvious brands (probably, in part, to avoid the royals looking like they’re endorsing anything), so his look

Truly. He’s got a shirt and sweater on, full socks, and naked knees. Poor child.

Whatever it is, it’s definitely not being helped by the fact that they’ve stuck to the tradition of not letting him wear full trousers yet.

It really is strange how their family are like 1940s cosplayers. What do they even dress them in? Is this going to last throughout their entire childhood?

Kate is in heels and a dress, carting around a tiny human. How does she BEND that gracefully? Do your knees and core muscles become magic when you’re Royalty?

Kate’s outfit is divine. She looks absolutely gorgeous.

As Dan Patrick used to say on Sportscenter, “He’s listed as day to day, but, then again, aren’t we all?”

That’s a pretty optimistic injury outlook, ESPN.
