I think most people hit an age where knowing local geography is far more useful. I personally have no need to know that one country broke into 7 separate countries that all hate each other, so knowing it really just boils down to a talking point.

I read the 75 minute run time on one of the sites that listed where you could see it in theaters and I really doubt they'd charge you admission and then make you watch commercial breaks. 75 minutes is two commercial-free episodes worth of time after all.
