Not a young-adult fiction writer is how I'd describe him.

Yeah, 'The American Dream' is no excuse for lazying about on one creative idea for well over a decade. It's like a band releasing the same album over and over. Or an actor who willfully gets typecast. She made some fleeting attempt to 'silently' release a book under a different pen name, claiming she didn't want her

Rowling is a whore. There I said it.

On the plus side, you know the new Star Wars will have great effects, attractive actors/actresses, and likely very little child-pandering characters (I'm looking at you Jar Jar). On the down side, the story will probably fall apart somewhere along the way and we'll get a similar helping of emotionless action that

Oh Tom Sawyer, up to your whitewashing tricks again..

Man, I must have missed something with that episode, I barely got 10 minutes in before I tapped out. I'm only a few season into Doctor Who but it seems like every season there's a non-Doctor-centric episode and they're always my least favorite.

This was taken while he was sitting at home watching TV quietly, then those damn humans kept making all that racket..

I agree that a person could come up with some ridiculous super hero idea and make it a cool character with good stories and good art. But that's not what Batwoman is. Batwoman (and super boy, and spider girl, etc) are, 'lets take this existing character that's super popular and people can't seem to get enough of it,

I used to read everything having to do with Spider-Man, so I'm plenty familiar with spider woman and spider girl. Not so much the others I mentioned. But I think I said I'm not questioning the merits of said characters, only the concept that brought them into being. I totally get why these properties exist, so as much

You only have a certain amount of time to edit it. Or it's only available up until the person you're responding to reads it. Not sure how it works exactly, but after a while you don't have the option to edit.

They might be the best comics ever but she's a female Batman. She's named after him, has a similar outfit and the same 'powers'. Same with She Hulk. Female Hulk, nothing more. Female Spider-man. etc.

Not enough caps locks in that post to hold my attention.

No but it's strange and Tenenbaum-y

I can't wait until I catch up on Doctor Who so I can actually read these articles and spoilers for the 50th...

They are knock offs. It's like now your Hulk can come in man version and woman version. I didn't know the copyright history behind it though, so that's interesting. I always assumed it was a weak ploy to boost female readership.

I'm always annoyed when they just regurgitate male characters into female characters. Make an original female hero. Or have it be someone like Catwoman where she at least has her own identity and isn't borrowing from her big brother, so to speak. Maybe there's a feminist out there who can drone on about that for me.

At least if she doesn't marry they can skip all those countless bad-guy-kidnaps-good-guys-wife/husband story lines. How many times did Spider-man have to save Mary Jane, for instance.

Your children will cling to you like shackles and you will have no Walking Dead class.

They've confirmed that Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher will have a role in it. But no Lando yet!

They're sick of watching your noisy kids. They did their time when they raised you and you ruined them on children forever. Way to go.
