Dude, I’ve done court-ordered community service before-it’s not that bad. Definitely much easier than fleeing the goddamn country.

I’m against it because of the possibility of innocent people being executed-you can let someone out of prison but you can never undo executing someone, and so many people have been exonerated from death row after DNA evidence started being a thing. Also it costs the state more money to execute someone than to keep

I had to learn it for an anthropology class in college, it’s really not that hard-the numbers extend outward horizontally on a family tree, and the removed stuff is vertical. So like, your first cousins are the people you share grandparents with, second cousins you share great-grandparents with, etc. Your parent’s

Well, sure, we’ll all use a beer coozie, but who doesn’t already have a drawer of random coozies in their house already? But it seems like an unnecessary expensive for something that the guests will probably treat with as much excitement as getting a free pen at the bank.

Yeah I just can’t with anything that destructive and wasteful. If you don’t want to save your wedding dress why not just donate it to the thrift shop or give it away or something?

I see all these super fancy favor ideas on Pinterest and they all seem like such a waste of money-no one wants some kind of keepsake with the date of someone of else’s wedding on it or another couple’s name on it. Ditto for bridesmaid gifts that say bridesmaid on them-no one’s gonna wear a robe that says bridesmaid on

Because he doesn’t actually care about doing what’s right, he just cares about people thinking he’s a good person. With murder there’s a chance of no one finding out but you can’t hide a divorce.

Food is definitely taxed in my state! (Though it isn’t when you’re paying with food stamps). At first I thought this Australian tax was an EXTRA tax on tampons, like we have on liquor and tobacco in the US, but if the Australian government makes other items tax exempt because they’re necessary, than it’s ridiculous

This happened to me too-I was fine with any kind of tampons, and they all started feeling super weird and scratchy-like I could feel them constantly moving around in there. The only one that I use now is the Playtex Sport ones-they kind of ‘plug’ me up so I don’t feel anything. It’s so weird though because I haven’t

This is so weird to me because I would think an IUD would be a better choice for young people, who are often forgetful-an IUD you just get it and then forget it for however many years.

You basically sound just like the conservatives who say we shouldn’t have sex ed because it encourages kids to have sex.

But you can take a selfie WITH another person!

It told me 23 and I’m 24...but I actually think I was still 23 when the picture I used was taken, so GENIUS!

I think the issue is that your pay is just so uncertain when you’re a server. There’s a lot of people that work hard and deserve to make more money, but at least when you’re working fast food or something you *know* you’ll get paid for going to work. Being a server you could work your butt and STILL not make any money

Ah, ok-thank you for actually explaining it!

So they’re just called life sentences but they aren’t? Because in the US life sentence means you can’t ever get out of prison.

Because people can live longer than 25 years? I mean I don’t know how old these men are, I supposed past a certain age it would pretty much be a life sentence, but even in the men were in their 50’s it wouldn’t be improbable that they could live long enough to be released.

Awesome, but I’m fairly confused how 25 years means a life sentence.

My roommate in college did this and our dorm room smelled like burnt easy Mac for about a week after-hours it temporaily killed the microwave for a couple days!

Yeah, that one still annoyed me. The woman KNEW that if the card was lost it was by the dayshift bartender, so there was no excuse at all for her to be rude to the nightshift one.
