I'm aware there are all kinds of fans, and different people like things for different reasons, and in different degrees. TOS is my favorite fictional thing in the world. I've loved it since there was nothing but the original 79 episodes, which I watched every night, over and over. I know TOS as well as anyone could,

Well, I thought I was going to be mature about it, and admit there are reasons why someone might think it belonged on this list- then I remembered that no, the movie is pure, unfiltered evil, and I must enlighten the masses lest they face damnation in the fires of Gre'thor.

HI CHARLIE JANE!

Right, we live in a post-racial, one-party world now, and nobody, from racist rednecks to Billionaire Republican campaign funders, were opposed to Obama's reelection. Have you been in a cave for the last few months?

Oh yeah, you're right. Casting a black person in a previously white role is a LOT harder than doing something that's NEVER happened before and goes against 200+ years of American history. Obama had it so easy!

There were two separate elections for President. A black man won twice.

We weren't ready for a black President either, but it's happened twice. Change is possible, if you want it.

It's going to be hard to come up with fresh ways to do the old fish-out-of-water thing. It's been done SO much- Spock, Data, Yancy Butler in Mann & Machine...

CGI is just another tool. The key is to focus on character and emotion, and give us people we actually care about and like. Lucas lost sight of that. I don't think Jackson will.

I WANT MORE MARK.

"...What a gas! ...to be back in that world... it's wonderful. Wonderful."

No way. Maybe as a stupid dream sequence.

What is his style? And please don't say lens flares, seriously or as a joke. That's not a style.

But, I don't want to potentially spoil the show for myself, so I've been waiting for the series to be over so I can read the comics. I appreciate the recommendation though. I think I may know what spoiler you're referring to- a particularly socially awkward person recently spoiled something to me regarding the

Yeah, that's just it- a lot of things can be clearer, more focussed, story-wise.

He's seemed not-right for how many episodes now, and has finally done something SEEMINGLY evil- he threatened to rape Maggie- which was awful- but he didn't even actually do that. Are we supposed to think he's evil, or insane, or somewhat reasonable, or- what? A lot of things are still unclear, and I hope it's working

Then why was he in that scene? Why did Rick stab his belly specifically? Also I believe he had dark hair coming out of his mouth. Pretty sure it was Lori's.

Do you find Woodbury or the Governor very interesting? If so, why? What is their value to the show? I find them very ill-defined. There could be so much more to the town, The Governor, and the doctor and his experiments.

On The Talking Dead, the episode's director, Greg Nicoterro, said the bloated zombie ate her, and was so full he couldn't move. Her hair was hanging from his mouth. Though I suppose one of Rick's friends could have gone in there, took his leftovers, left the zombie "alive", and put the remains in her grave, before

I think the show is really slipping. There's been a few sloppy scenes that don't seem very well thought out- like the Governor's little party easily overtaking the soldiers, or the one zombie COMPLETELY eating Lori, including her bones, or Milton needing more electricity for his experiments- for what, the record
