He's crap. I appreciate if they were trying to do something different or more "realistic", less Godzilla-like. But it still should have been cool, and not a goofy mess. Plus that designer, Neville Page, as good an illustrator as he is, tends to repeat himself a lot, especially all the modern creature cliches, like the

It's true- limits, feedback, and a good editor always keep creators from wandering off into a world that makes sense only to themselves.

That is a good choice. Call a meeting.

HOLY CRAP YES!

George Lucas is a genius. He (with the help of thousands of other people who he brought together) created one of the most beloved fictional universes in history.

"...whoever is trying to watch this simply has Comcast. Poor bastard...."

CAN I BE ROCKET RACCOON?!?

Wow- excellent point! Maybe he recognizes her voice, but doesn't know from where, at first?

Guardians of the Galaxy: I vote for Jack Huston as Starlord. He's fantastic on Boardwalk Empire, and he needs someplace to show off his handsome.

True, true.

It's like putting the command bridge of a starship at the topmost center of the most prominent part of the ship. It's probably the absolute worst place for it strategically, but to the audience, intuitively, it makes the most sense.

I've often thought that about androids, like Data. Why put the brain in a part of the body that sticks out, is an easy target, and can get knocked off the body, when you could just put it IN the body?

Sorry, I thought when you said "they have found hyperspace, other dimensions, and the like. Quantum teleportation...." you meant in real life.

"...'its too bottom-heavy; looks as if its dragging an untold amount of crap along behind it'.

There is no evidence of hyperspace or other dimensions. Zero. Those things are still just speculation. And quantum teleportation is more like quantum duplication-of-certain-properties-of particles. It probably doesn't bring us any closer to actually moving matter from one place to another.

I hate that thing. Unimaginative design with hideous, oversized, ungraceful details.

Wow- a Lexx shout-out. Nice.

Excellent choice!

Doesn't belong here.

I agree that humans having psychic powers is an outdated, silly concept. Lots more people believed in such things back in the 60's when "Where No Man Has Gone Before" was filmed than do now. Even TNG had a lot of New Age psychic B.S. in it (via Deanna and Lwaxanna Troi) that I hope modern audiences wouldn't buy. But
