I hope "an unstoppable force of terror" refers to the emotion, and not terrorism, because Star Trek shouldn't be as mired in 9/11 era torture/terrorism mentality as just about every other American action-adventure film and TV show. We should really move past eternal war, and Star Trek should show the way, as it did in

Well, if we had a replacement, my dream would be Sean Pertwee, in a wig, playing his father.

I know, and it says that in the article, but it doesn't say what I said.

The entire movie "Beware! The Blob" is on YouTube. They used to show it every year at my sleep-away camp. It's really funny, and has a great cast, including a cameo by Hagman and Burgess Meredith as stoners, hippies, or something.

Works for me.

I think it's a shame that the Bakers might seem ridiculous coming back only because they're so much older and fatter than when they left.

I am used to disappointment from the Steven Moffat/Matt Smith era. Tennant would disappoint me- he would be the least surprising pick. I'm hoping for better from their 50th anniversary (it will be mine too!)

I remember the toy "line" just being the one robot, who came with a big universal translator that bleeped, and his gun(s) (I think there were two). The comics were good, and had a good run. The Dire Wraiths were a great, creepy enemy. The toy had limited appeal.

I hope it's not David Tennant. We got a lot of him, not so long ago. Pairing him with Smith will look like a couple of hipsters having a quirk-off.

You win.

Sorry!

…and Borg.

…and starships…

AWESOME! Needs more action figures…

THANK YOU MEREDITH!! I'll take my coal and like it. A worthy sacrifice to The Great Bird of the Galaxy.

This morning I was watching Tomb of the Cybermen for the first time. All alone.
