There’s this standard called EPA ratings. It’s a standard, because it allows you to compare the EPA numbers of a vehicle, to the EPA numbers of other vehicles.

Y’know, I thought about that. I haven’t looked it up, but I’m guessing CO2+H2O? All greenhouse gasses? So it just goes bad to worse.

How could they not maintain Porsche’s legendary/infamous pendulum like handling?

That’s what they said when it was announced the 911 would be water cooled.

I’ve gotten a lot less hostile in recent years. These days I just let it go. But tailgaters really piss me off when I move over to let them pass, and they don’t pass.

I’m pretty sure the seats on a Mercedes station wagon are pretty nice to pee on too :)

It won’t do much for your range, but it’ll compensate for charging your phone and running the miscellaneous electronics. If you run out of juice during the day and stay parked in sunlight, you might be able to drive those last two miles to a charging station at a very slow speed.

That’s the point.

But...it’ll only last in the atmosphere for 12 years. Unlike CO2, which lasts 20-200 years.

The leak is coming from the earth from different places. But they are talking about building a structure or installing pipes and a stack to burn the gas off in the interim while they drill another shaft to block off the leaking shaft. This should have been done months ago.

Local news says the leak is putting more greenhouse gasses into the air than 1 million cars per day. Every day.

Dogs really do like them, though. Which is a little weird when you think about it.

And they thought they’d finally get value from the extended warranties they purchased.

There are reasons why people live in non-major cities. One of them is that an auto mechanic can afford to buy a home and raise a family.

This is not a remotely new problem. It’s simple economics. New apartments will only be built when demand outstrips supply by a large margin. And they will stop being built long before supply begins to meet demand.

Urban density and rent increases beyond “affordability” are inevitable. That’s why Blue Sky Studios moved from the city to White Plains. It’s why any business moves to the suburbs. Rental property isn’t charity, it’s always been an investment meant to optimize return.

Buick really needs the Avista. They have been without a halo car for far too long, and if it’s based on the same platform as the Camaro, it could be a real winner. I won’t buy one (not looking for a luxury sedan or coupe), but I’d like to see one parked on my street.

Long term when most of the cars on the road have autonomous capabilities, they are a large solution to major problems cities are encountering.

Instead of stop and go traffic in which bands of “slow” travel down the line like a shockwave and then turn into a resonant standing wave, if the autonomous cars were networked

To distract her male or lesbian opponents. It would succeed more often than anyone wants to admit.
