Buick really needs the Avista. They have been without a halo car for far too long, and if it’s based on the same platform as the Camaro, it could be a real winner. I won’t buy one (not looking for a luxury sedan or coupe), but I’d like to see one parked on my street.

Long term when most of the cars on the road have autonomous capabilities, they are a large solution to major problems cities are encountering.

Instead of stop and go traffic in which bands of “slow” travel down the line like a shockwave and then turn into a resonant standing wave, if the autonomous cars were networked…
