I LOVED those space suit designs in Alien. They were bad ass and believable.

Even my old motorcycle with 4 carbs, slow warm up, and shitty valves that always need adjusting...starts on a dime. WTF... Time to figure out a new BS delay tactic.

Somewhere in the middle of the hills of Arkansas is an innocent couple stranded in their Leaf with the blinking "Battery Empty" indicator.

As ServerCat pointed out, it's Deep Impact. I didn't say it was a GOOD example :D

No kidding? Learn something new each day.

Wasn't there a movie that featured this type of detonation drive? My mind could be playing tricks with me and it was a book I read.

You can also use one to create a hole through the shield wall on Arrakis.

I saw a video once of a conventional thruster design where there was no oxidizer. It had a tank of liquid mass (Hydrogen?) and it passed the mass directly through an atomic pyle to bring the mass up to some insane temperature where it exited with exceptional energy.

Compared to the comics, this movie is an unholy abomination. BUT, if you haven't read them, it's pretty entertaining.

I'm watching this right now. It's pretty good grade B food!

I wanted a model of that machine for most of my teen years (never got one). One of the great designs.

For my second wife, I bought a custom made ring with a mixture of gemstones that form a rainbow around the entire band. It's beautiful and simple at the same time.

Shit, you just saved me a few years of psychotherapy. Where the hell were you?

You know, that's a cool idea. As the years go by buy new rings worth more and more. Or be more and more beautiful.

Oh, I got your reference. If I ever meet a Christ like woman (first off she would be a he) I'm sure a simple wooden ring would suffice.

That is why I'm on my second marriage :D

The joke is, she would cry and say yes, then about 6 months into the marriage she would ask for the REAL ring.

Oh I forgot to mention the band was platinum.

Divorce > 50%. I had my ex wife's ring custom made with perfect diamonds (2 1ct and 1 2ct) and a band design of my own.

Well, if you take a racing chassis all tube crash cage construction type car and you front end it with another car, I imagine, it's low mass would make it flip up and over the other car. Then it would roll on the cage. There wouldn't be much damage. WE NEED MORE VIDEOS!
