Hah, I’m in IT too. My last project was setting up a Raspberry Pi with FlightAware to track flights around me. I started trying to write something to scrape the FlightAware site for maps of the routes that flights I took used, but I never finished it.
That’s a pretty cool project, I’d never considered doing that. Is the NIC in the laptop robust enough to handle all the traffic?
