Ick, that's got to be a mess. I've seen that happen, but only when attempting to paint a laminated paneling or hardboard/Masonite surface, although it can happen with any surface that is smooth, slippery or has some waxy or oily stuff on the surface. It can also happen when painting latex paint over a high gloss

Jon -

Technically non-flammable means "not easily ignited and not burning rapidly if ignited."

I have a daily list which I go through exactly once. I also have a weekly list, but I don't use it any more.

I would consider assembling something per instructions whether it is from Ikea or somewhere else to be do it yourself. That doesn't mean you don't feel good (or perhaps relieved) once assembled - whether it's a table or a bicycle.

We recently had a two day electrical outage - we were relatively well prepared with flashlights, kerosene lamps., water storage, food, extension cords, buckets and our outside LP-gas grill.

Ok, let's get real. Steelcase LEAP @ $879, Hm Mirra @ $650. Turnstone Reply @ $450.

32 mile commute, half on 4 lane divided, half on two lane country roads. What makes it easier?

Absolutely! My wife has an MSW with management certification and has been unemployed for over a year. Every employer is VERY interested in her - until they find out she's 61. You can just hear the "thud" when it happens. She has reported them to the state unemployment, but nothing has happened other than they keep

I've always had problems going from a Trackpoint which I can drive very well to a touchpad which to me is clumsy and over sensitive. I just have difficulty with them.

I agree - nothing beats a well-secured spare key.

Very skeptical.

Don't forget to include outsourcing tasks you absolutely hate doing.

I find a trackball mounted at the same level as the keyboard relieves a lot of repetitive injury to my right shoulder. The constant moving of a mouse inflames the shoulder so badly that pain shoots down the arm. The trackball doesn't eliminate it, but certainly reduces it.

Ok in my room there's the TV and Dish Network controller at one end, then there's the shaver on the bureau, then a clock radio, a small stereo system, a police scanner, my desk with laptop, monitor, speaker system for the stereo, a network switch, and telephone and two different cell phone chargers.

I agree - benefit of the project doesn't appear to be worth the risk from my view, but your mileage will vary.

Besides the personal contact information in the header, the first thing in my resume is a brief statement of what I can do for the reader and their business. Yes, that is typically in the cover letter, but having it at the beginning of the resume gets right to the point of the reader's main issue.

I've heard the phrase "the tyranny of the urgent" - meaning we can get so distracted by "urgent" things that we fail to prioritize thoughtfully resulting in that we have no time to work on the truly important things.

I have a small Fedders 10,000 BTU window unit which has the mechanical controls being around 15 years old, perhaps a bit more. This is for a room that has no forced air heating and cooling ducts and no good way of adding them. Thus, the window air unit. I can't complain about mine - it has worked flawlessly since

I have one too. Love it. Took me a few batches before I had it dialed in - had been cooking in in a heavy aluminum pot, so I had to adjust for the quicker heat up/faster cool down and the thinner metal.
