My limit is fried potatoes of any kind no more than once a week.

Don't know about doing it as a blog, but having a portfolio of past projects and accomplishments is probably a good thing and not that hard to do if you start early in your career and update it as you go - wish I had done that since the beginning of my career since the first half of my 31 year career is now such a

Agree!

Yeah, I have one (and it's not one of the more recent el cheapo Chinese copies) from the 50's. I got mine from my late aunt who got hers as a gift from the local egg-buyer. Back then co-ops gave out some pretty nice gifts to their patrons.

My company has sick days if you are really sick, but you don't have a set number which you can bank if not used. If you're sick too much, your manager may take some action to encourage proper use if you may be misusing them.

You never know what you are capable of until you try.

I don't keep a "quick task list" - if a task comes in that takes less than 3-5 minutes, I do it immediately - if never gets to a list to have to manage. More than five minutes, it goes on a work list.

Similar issues - screwed up my right shoulder doing work unrelated to keyboarding. Due to the horrible design of the desk, the keyboard tray didn't have room for a mouse, so the mouse was on a surface nearly five inches higher than the keyboard. So every time I moved from keyboard to mouse and back it strained the

I have a Thinkpad T60 running XP pro and I don't intend to replace it until Windows 8 is available and stable.

Yah, that's sort of what I was thinking... the thread is how to avoid LOOKING like s***... I'd like to know how to not FEEL like s*** in the morning.
