That was going to my comment as well. I spent 4 years on a Carrier and we never had a sub tender as part of the battle group. I think there are only 2 tenders in the fleet, one is in Italy (or used to be) and I think the other is in Guam, which is where the Frank Cable probably came from.

I actually got a mount to hold my iPad and I use that as my GPS. The mount attaches to one of the passenger seat floor bolts and holds the iPad in a perfect location for use as a GPS.

FYI, #5 is not a landing on a carrier. That's on the back of a cruiser or destroyer or something much smaller. Carriers don't move around that much even in rough seas.
