I don’t know if I would ever use the term “dropping it” when it comes to Blizzard. But I understand what you mean. There’s going to be both a HotS team and an Overwatch team for the foreseeable future. Someone who watches Blizzard closely might be able to tell if personnel is being shuffled around though.

Well Luckey is the founder of Oculus so I don’t see how vetting employees would have kept him out of the industry.

If anything, if he separates from the company all it’s going to do is give him more free time to pursue his agenda. It’s not like he was spending company funds on his personal project.
