That’s the truth right there. YouTube as it used to be had no way of existing forever. Google buying them allowed YouTube to continue as a “free” service for a while longer. But even Google’s patience and money is not infinite.

YouTube’s system is bad for advertisers too. The advertisers don’t get to pick which channels their ads show up on. The content creators don’t get to pick or request which advertisers put ads on their channels.

To be honest, there was never any way that YouTube “in it’s prime” could continue that way it did forever.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think that it’s just progressives who do that.
