exactly. Hell I used to make the damn things and I'm not anal enough about it to insult someone for using one or the other.

Because you're allowed to have a driver's license and own firearms. Because your vote counts as much as mine does. Because you could be my doctor or my lawyer and I need you to understand the world better than that. Because I'm going to end up having to pay extra taxes to cover your fuckups at some point in my life.

meaning he's being an even bigger dick than the people who correct people who say "pound-feet" and "motor".

the number of people in the comments who are saying things to the effect of "lulz thatz dum wen u use it as an umbrealla ur car gets wet" fucking terrifies me.

I don't see the debate. Anything that comes out of an OEM is OEM, with OEM resources, staff, and equipment. Anything that comes after the car has left the manufacturing facility is aftermarket. I've done both. From an engineering standpoint they're almost nothing alike.

this will most likely be mine:

I'm beginning to wonder if I should even complain about new cars losing some of their directness, their feel, their spark. Am I wrong? Am I going soft?

oh hell yes, that's definitely going back in the playlist.

Are you sure they're not Forgiatos? I don't know either brand well enough to say for sure.

This isn't a discussion about you and me, this is a discussion about why people, i.e. americans, i.e. the average american are buying prii instead of volts. Their opinions are what matters here, and therefore theirs carry the most weight in my arguments. I am not an average american. Based on my income and age, I'm

I appreciate that the R8 looks substantially shittier with the top up. I consider that a necessary aspect of a proper droptop supercar.

I thought the same thing. That makes it even cooler.

Ah, well there you go, now I understand the fallacy that people are operating under to justify a Prius over a volt.

Let me reiterate: that's like saying "how fast can you run with one leg?"
